Having been a single mum for more than 10 years I am extremely proud of my 2 girls and all that they achieve and I was really delighted when they took an interest in showing our dogs.
JUNIOR HANDLING
My 2 daughters, Charlotte and Hannah, have both competed in junior handling for the last 4 years. During that time they have both done some winning and had some really nice placings.
Charlotte (who is now 20 years old) was Beagle Junior Handler of the year 1998, judge Anne Phillips.
Hannah (now aged 17) was runner up Best Handler in Dorset 1998, judge Laura Smith, and also went Best Junior Handler at the Welsh Beagle Club Championship Show 1999, judge Sally Parker.
They both qualified for the Junior Handling Semi Finals at Richmond each year since they began but have never competed there. They have made good friends with the other juniors and although they are moving on to other hobbies and 'boys' they still attend the occasional club shows.
